Uncle Wawa is a scholar, educator, and entertainer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. From an early age, he understood that education and creativity were not opposing forces, but two sides of the same coin. His life has been shaped by this philosophy—a commitment to uplifting others through knowledge, engagement, and joy.

His academic journey led him to Central High School of Philadelphia—one of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Blue Ribbon Schools—where he truly came into his own. It was within those hallowed halls that the name ‘Uncle Wawa’ was born, a moniker that would follow him far beyond graduation. At Central, he discovered a love for performance, throwing himself into musicals and the arts while maintaining his dedication to scholarship. He learned early that the best educators are also performers, and the best performers are educators at heart.

After Central High, he enrolled at Kutztown University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Media Strategy with a focus on digital and social media production. But the pull of education never let go. He returned to academia to earn his Master of Education, and stepped into the classroom—bringing the same energy, creativity, and passion to his students that he brings to every stage and event he graces. For years, he thrived as an educator, building relationships and transforming lives through dynamic instruction and genuine care.Recognizing that some students needed more specialized support, Uncle Wawa took a deliberate step back from traditional classroom teaching to explore the deeper intersection of behavior, development, and social work. This pivot proved transformative. Drawing on his education, his natural gift for connecting with others, and his unwavering belief in human potential, he founded Uncle Wawa Loves Me (UWLM) Behavior Support—a newly formed company dedicated to providing private behavioral care in classrooms and home environments. Today, Uncle Wawa is the rare kind of person who can command a classroom and a dancefloor with equal confidence, using every skill and experience to help families thrive.
